Jessica has been working in migration law since 2010 and is a co-founder of WLW Migration Lawyers. She has a combined Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of International Relations from La Trobe University.
Jessica has experience working and studying around the world, including in China, Sweden, Poland and Ghana. She was previously the Principal Solicitor and manager of the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre’s Human Rights Law Program.
At WLW, Jessica focuses on employer sponsored visas, family visas, visa cancellation and refugee visas. Jessica has assisted clients from small start-ups, through to large multi-national corporations and enjoys the daily challenge of breaking down complex migration concepts for clients in a way that is easy to understand. She has extensive experience in judicial review, having worked on many successful matters in the Federal Circuit Court, Federal Court and High Court of Australia.
Jessica has previously been a member of the LIV’s Refugee Law Reform Committee and the Legacy Caseload Working Group. She has presented at numerous migration and refugee law conferences and Senate Inquiries into proposed migration law amendments in Australia.
